Let's make a lemon cake in class!

The classes of Third of Primary made lemon cakes last Monday 19th October in the English class. We read  the ingredients and the utensils we needed in our Lemon cake books and then we followed step by step the recipe. One student started adding the lemon yoghurt, another one greased the cake tin, some others brought the cake to the school kitchen... Thanks to the kitchen staff we made the cakes we could taste in the afternoon. Both cakes were delicious! Click on the link below to see the photos.

Now we have the opportunity to make another cake at home with our families, take photos or make a video and share a piece of cake with our English teacher Vicky and some classmates. Role plays in 1st and 2nd of Primary!

The classes of 1st and 2nd of Primary have already started the role-play activities in the English class. Here you can have a look at our fantastic actors and actresses as Johnny, Daddy, Little Witch or Mummy Witch.
1st of Primary enjoy eating biscuits and saying 'naught boy' to Johnny. 2nd of Primary loves casting spells over Mummy Witch.

Thanks to the great black hats, broomsticks and witch costumes that some of them brought to school we could decorate the English class and make great performances.

Camping song 4th Primary

After learning the song, preparing the dancing, practising at home, doing writing activities to learn the lyrics... today 4th A of Primary made a video singing and dancing the song of the last unit called Camping. We all hope you like it. They did very good!

Marc and his Mummy made a presentation

Marc G.S from 2nd A of Primary made a power point presentation with his mum at home and sent it to me to share it with all his class. It is an amazing presentation with photos and a lot of imagination. They prepared a stage and used PlayMobil toy and plasticine to reproduce the house of The Little Witch. Children loved watching it and I'm sure Marc learnt a lot making this creative activity with his mum.Thank you very much for sharing this work with us!

Don't stop learning English in summer!

Role Plays The Doctor 1st Primary

During the months of March and April the groups of 1st of Primary are doing role-play activities. Children act their part of the story depending if they are Mummy Bear, the Doctor or Little Bear. Role Plays The Little Witch 2nd Primary

2nd of Primary is practising a dialogue between Mummy Witch and Little Witch. In class, we have some nice witch costumes, lots of diferent black hats, three broomsticks and a fantastic spell book handmade by Claudia N. at home. We are all enjoying a lot seeing our classmates with a wart on their nose and deciding if Little Witch chooses to say a spell to take it off or if she decides to be a naughty girl. Thank you for coming to our show!

Last week third of Primary made the show that have been preparing these months in class. Children made their costumes and stage sets and we could see fantastic performances. On 13th and 14th May, 3rd B and 3rd A got everything ready to make a successful show at the Central Playground.
